I gave a class on The Line Corpsman to fellas headed to Nam.I worked personnel and handled orders as well as the funeral escorts for docs KIA'd East of the Mississipi from 67 to 69. So far I'm intouch with two of my platoon docs. Graham Tedford and John Cutright. Sempers

I'm looking for anybody who served with William Thomas Roberson, AKA "Billy Roberson" or "Robbie" at Batangan Peninsula in January '69. Billy was killed by a large mine January 31, 1969. He was one of my oldest friends; I'd known him since we were snot-nosed kindergarten kids riding around on our bicycles. I've found a couple of guys who say they knew him, but weren't around when he was killed, and I'd like to hear from someone who served in his platoon and maybe who would have more specific information about what happened to him. One story has it that he didn't die until later, on a hospital ship, for example. Thanks a bunch, guys. Ron

This web site does a great service to all the Doc's from the Nam. We lost our two corpsman with in four to six weeks after going into country up by the DMZ 1966.Names were, Green and J.Faust after that we were on our own for about one month. I was WIA 4/27/67 and I always wanted to thank Doc on that day for the help he give me, but unfortunatly he was a replacement and I don't have his name.I salute all the corpsman, you are Marines. Great site, good graphics, thought provoking poetry and music to boot. What more can you ask for. Who would of thought back in 1969 that all of us old farts would have gotten back together again after all those years. And that the majority of us electronic connectivity at our fingertips. We're going to have to shame Bill Vurnakes into joining the 21st century and get a computer!
